Transformation of hard coal mining plant in the german Ruhrgebiet, 100 ha classified UNESCO World Heritage site.

Masterplan and reuse of the coal washing plant by OMA; Zollverein School of Management and Design by SANAA. The complex is supposed to function as a breeding ground for young professionals, a place to make contacts and start up their businesses.
